About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP for Corporate M&A with a strong background in M&A transactions to lead the M&A governance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a consistent and effective approach to M&A across all business areas, including the development and maintenance of group-wide M&A policies and procedures. This role involves proactively driving the improvement of the M&A process, leading a community of practice among M&A leaders, and building alignment with various functional workstreams. The VP will also serve as a key advisor to the CFO and CEO on M&A deals, challenging and reviewing business cases, and will be involved in project management for large transactions. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in M&A, with a proven track record in building and understanding valuation and financial models. The role requires the ability to present results to senior leadership, communicate effectively with senior management, and lead project teams. The VP will be expected to have excellent written and oral communication skills in English, and the ability to quickly and comprehensively analyze information. The position is ideal for a candidate who is motivated, experienced, and ready to take on the challenge of leading M&A governance in a dynamic and global environment.
