As a Screener with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure environment for everyone onsite. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible. You will also play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and communicating clearly with visitors and employees. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Screen individuals entering the location by verifying identification and/or credentials according to site-specific procedures.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by answering questions and assisting with directions or information as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or suspicious activity observed during the shift.
• Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate concerns or issues as they arise.
• Support emergency response activities by following instructions and assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency procedures.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
