Position: Full Time, Governess, Live Out, Nanny Location Manhattan, New York, Travel Job Description Divorced parents on the Upper East Side are seeking an educated, multilingual Nanny/Governess to care for their two children (a teen and a pre-teen) and support their academic and personal growth. Responsibilities include: School pick-up and transportation to activities and appointments Assisting with homework and tutoring, especially for the younger child Engaging children in age-appropriate developmental games and active play Handling full-charge care when parents are away Preparing snacks and meals, running child-related errands Traveling with the family, including trips to upstate NY and Greenwich, CT Candidate Requirements Well-educated (relevant degree or experience preferred) Well-traveled with cultural awareness Polished, responsible, mature, patient, active, and articulate Experience with ABA and/or OT, or working with children requiring such care Prior long-term experience with excellent references Multilingual, with a valid passport, and ideally a driver’s license Flexible schedule, including coverage from 2 to 6:30 pm weekdays, every other weekend, and ability to work late or stay over when children are home Willingness to travel with the family Compensation Salary range: $120,000 - $180,000, including health insurance stipend.
